At Hurulu Eco Park, visitors can enjoy close-up sightings of Asian elephants, especially during the dry season when herds migrate from nearby parks like Minneriya and Kaudulla. The park’s lush dry evergreen forest also shelters spotted deer, wild boar, toque macaques, sambar deer, and a variety of bird species such as peacocks, eagles, and kingfishers. While rarer, animals like sloth bears and leopards may also be spotted. The safari offers a quieter, more intimate wildlife experience compared to the busier nearby parks.
When your tour is complete. Your vehicle will return you to your hotel or original departure point.

Please do not smoke or take alcoholic drinks inside the park and dispose of little responsibly. Prohibited from getting off the safari jeep and walking around the park, and don’t feed any of the animals. Read our Safety Guidelines for more details.
